In 2006, KDF Communities made their entrance into the commercial real estate market with the purchase of 42 acres in Ventura County in the City of Fillmore, California. KDF developed the property from its agricultural zoning into an industrial park, completing the annexation into the city, Environmental Impact Report and formation of a financing vehicle to build a multi-million dollar flood control levy, all in less than 18 months.

KDF is now building its commercial portfolio and actively seeking new projects. KDF’s strengths in recognizing development opportunities and responding quickly to marketplace demands will help ensure its future as a multi-faceted real estate development company.
