KDF Communities LLC specializes in developing, entitling, and building affordable housing communities.

 

KDF focuses on sustainable housing design and construction. As a result, our company is characterized by long-term relationships with municipalities often resulting in repeat business. Since 1996, KDF has built new construction apartment properties throughout the State of California. KDF’s expertise includes transit-oriented, mixed-use, and infill apartment communities across the state. Our product line ranges from low-density suburban garden product (18-30 du/ac) to high-density urban infill housing (110 du/ac) to meet a City’s unique planning and development goals.

 

Our construction managers are focused on design, budget, and schedule to ensure that our new construction meets stringent quality control measures. KDF hires 3rd party general contractors that draw subcontractors from the local communities in which we build. Whether it’s a mixed-use project to reinvigorate a City’s urban core or a suburban project as part of a large, master planning effort, KDF develops housing that meets the needs of the market, our investors, and the communities in which we are located.

 

KDF is a long-term holder and we still own over 90% of all projects we have developed and rehabbed.
